Lorie Vannucci

(If you are interested in ministry in Eastern Kentucky, contact Bro Vannucci at 606-285-3051, or write: Rev. Lorie Vannucci, PO BOX 747, Martin, Kentucky 41649). The city of Martin is located in Floyd County, Kentucky.

The son of Italian immigrants, Lorie Vannucci graduated from Elim Bible College, NY, in 1954, and served as an Associate Pastor in Scranton, PA. Moving from his Pennsylvania home to the mountain regions of eastern Kentucky, Bro.Vannucci, planted churches and became soon a prominent and respected business man and leader in his community. Still today, Bro. Vannucci sells DAKE BIBLES, Christian Logo Ties, and Men's Suits, at wholesale/cost prices for ministers who contact him accordingly. He and his wife, Annette, carry the honor of having pastored their church (Martin First Assembly) longer than any other pastor at present in the Kentucky District, now well over 30 years. An avid sports fan who once tried out for the Pittsburg Pirates, Bro. Vannucci is well-known as a man of the Word and a pastor with a heart for the less fortunate. His leadership as a Sectional Presbyter in Eastern Kentucky is vital to the work of the Assemblies of God in that region.

The Vannucci's have two daughters, Dr.Renee Girdler - Crestwood, Ky (wife of District Supt, Joseph S. Girdler) and Gina Owsley, married to Dwayne Owsley, living in Versailles, Kentucky. They have 6 grandchildren.
