Stan Holder was elected as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Kentucky District Council in January 2003.  Prior to coming to the District Office, Stan served as the Pastor of Trinity Assembly of God in Georgetown, Kentucky for 20 years.  During his tenure in Georgetown, the church experienced steady and healthy growth.  The Sunday morning attendance grew from 100 to 400, while Sunday night attendance grew to average 240, and the midweek services ballooned to nearly 450 in weekly attendance.  He guided the church through three land acquisitions and two building programs.  Stan also served the Kentucky District as a Sectional Presbyter for 12 years, and as the West Region Executive Presbyter for four years prior to his election to District ministry.    

Stan married Ida (Legge) in 1976.  They have three grown children all of whom are married, and seven grandchildren.  Ida is a nurse.  She and Stan were also foster parents before coming to the District Office.  

Stan began his ministerial studies at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where he majored in Biblical studies.  He  completed his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College and Theological Seminary, Evansville, Indiana.  As the Secretary/Treasurer, Brother Holder oversees the credentialing process for the District and manages the District finances.  He also serves as the Director of Church Planting, and the Director of the Kentucky School of Ministry.  In addition, his office coordinates the reception and distribution of résumés for ministers looking for opportunities, and assists churches when they are in transition between pastors.  Stan also serves the District as a General Presbyter.  He has had numerous items published in our Assemblies of God periodicals.
